The Library at ULO

The Observatory maintains a specialist library for the support of teaching and research at Mill Hill. This library is modest in size and resources; its role is to complement the much larger DMS Watson Library located at UCL's main site in Bloomsbury, central London, and the increasing range of material available on-line. In particular, many printed journals now available through the NASA ADS services have been discarded, together with a range of data CDs and similar materials now readily available through Simbad.

Third-year teaching collection. A list of the books and journals which are normally kept in the South Lecture Room.

Communications from the University of London Observatory. An index to numbers 1 through 79, published between 1938 and 1989. Reprints of Comm. ULO 1 through 79 are available from the librarian at ULO. Starting with issue number 80, Comm. ULO was published only on the World Wide Web; the full text of the later issues are .
